How the Moon Formed?
The Collision Theory: This Theory supposes that there was a planet between Earth and Mars (Orpheous) that collided with the Earth, throwing out dust/rocks/ and debris that would become our moon. This theory has the most support of evidence (the moon is made out of Earth material, small iron core, etc...)
The Collision Theory fits the data best of the 4 theories and is the most widly held theory in Lunar Science.
